Welcome to the first in a series of monthly workshops! This series was born from my passion and delight in bringing people together to experience the joy of community, creativity, and beauty. Each workshop will explore a new medium; the table is prepared, the content is ripe for enjoyment, and all you need is to take the time to play. Whether you are overflowing with creativity or you want to step into something new, these workshops are for you. No previous experience is needed; anyone is welcome!
This is your invitation to turn off your screens, step into an inspiring environment, and enjoy good company while you work with your hands.

Workshop Details:
This workshop is perfect for flower lovers of any kind, whether you have never tried your hand at flower arranging but want to learn the basics, or if you've done this before and just can't get enough. Come gather around the table with friends and let's have some fun. Join us at Patina, an inspiring environment, where we will enjoy the fresh scent of flowers and create a beautiful, low sprawling arrangement. This sort of arrangement is my favorite for a dining table because it fills the space with nature and beauty, but is low enough it won't block your view as you share a meal. I will show you how to use the right materials and techniques to secure complimenting blooms and greenery in a low vessel. When you leave this workshop you will not only have a lovely arrangement to bring home, but also understand more about selecting florals and tools to work with, how to treat the stems, arranging styles, and aftercare for longer-lasting flowers.
Please Bring your favorite garden clippers to the class, as they will not be provided. If you don't have any there will be some available for purchase. All other supplies including flowers and vases will be provided, as well as refreshments. Flowers for the workshop will be sourced from my own garden, as well as local farms, as much as possible.

About the Location:
Patina Home & Garden is a highly curated retail and learning space, including eats from the farm fresh corner and beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces to gather. Brooke and Steve Giannetti, the married duo behind the nationally recognized architectural, design, and lifestyle firm Giannetti Home, opened this inspiring gathering place in the historic village of Leiper's Fork. The creative concept for Patina Home & Garden is based on the Giannettis’ design philosophy: nature, history, and community.
